I must start off with saying a big welcome back to Vikki. She left us nearly two years ago to have a baby and now has returned back to us.
The last blog told you how we were going to be assessed for division 11. We turned up to play our four games on Monday and we all played our socks off. We were on every lose ball, every interception we went for we got and most of the shots we took went in. We were on fire. We lost our first game, which i like to think was because we were settling our nerves. But went on to win the next two. As we prepared to play our last game, we received breaking news, the last team had decided to go home. We all think it was because they saw just how well we were playing but we can never be to sure about the reason.
After our games on monday we all sat with bated breath waiting for the results to come in. We waited, and while we waited we all went to work as teachers, teaching assistants, mums, Doctors receptionists and accountants, but still we waited, tuesday, wednesday, thursday. . . . . . still waiting . . . . . . . friday. .over the weekend some of us did some gardening to pass the time . . . . . . but still we waited and waited until finally on monday we heard that WE HAD NOT GOT INTO DIVISION 11
But division 10 instead.
How good were we.?
So we will get to have a social and celebrate our good news.
We have our A.G.M next month, by which time we should have our new kit ordered, and i have to say we are all pleased it doesnot have any bright pink on it.
Must go my bed calls
luv Tracey
